is it possible to purchase the spring pack only for 07 sg?
the comp. I bought did not have one. the comp in my bike looks very very good, but the spring pack is the worn out part.
61k on the bike. also bought a new haynes chain tensioner
and the dang stk. one looks like maybe 300 miles on it. should have looked at everything before buying anything! lesson learned. I'll be going out for a beer to cry in, in a bit, so I look forward to you'll solving this problem while I'm gone. kidding aside thanks for any help you offer.

If you need the springs they are actually part of the rotor for that year. PN: 40356-07
If you can even get one they list for 186.49. Could get it cheaper through kutter at 20% off probably (154 maybe?)
Before you go that route might want to just go with the SE compensator. I think I paid 340 something through Kutter.
Like you my springs died. My actual comp looked fine.

I think it's pretty cool when people do this. Usually it brings up some random thread with one of my posts on it that I long, long forgot. Kinda neat seeing what I was thinking years ago. Nostalgia or something...
I have the compensator issue, found this post and thought I give my 2 cents with my findings ...
I will not replace my compensator , but will add a flat washer to put with the Belleville spring washers in order to fill in the gap created with time (the Belleville spring washers get beaten up and flattened with time)
