Default Street Glide question

Been lurking for a while, need some info. Looking at 2012 and 2013 Street Glides and was wondering if there was any differences in the 2 years. Have found quite a few of both years with varying miles and prices .

Thanks for any input you have .

I think the only difference between the 2012 & 2013 was paint color options - the big changes were made starting with the 2014 models.
Due to the positive changes they made in 2014, the selling prices of the pre 2014 have dropped quite a bit.
Best with your choice

Not really any substantial differences, but if you can swing a few extra bucks, a used 14 has a ton of upgrades that most of us think are worth a look.

Give you an idea of how they supposedly have dropped quite a bit. (Which they have not)
2014 street glide with 847 miles=$22,995.00
2013 street glide with 12419 miles=21,995.00

I'm not sure of what the BIG changes are. New touchscreen radio, new angled forks, new mailbox slot , 1 pound lighter...

so for a bike with 12000+ miles on it it's only 1000.00 difference. They do not lose there value like that.

To be truthful was looking at 15's until the wife decided she wasn't going to ride bish anymore. So, have to use what cash I have saved to buy 2 decent used bikes instead of 1 new one. And of course, she wants hers NOW!!

I am actually finding 12's and 13's with anywhere from 8k to 15k miles in pretty good condition in the $17500.00 to $18,900.00 range.

Really would like an Ultra Limited Low. ( 5'4" tall 190#s with a 28" inseam) pockets just aren't deep enough right now. Been creeping around here for quite a while, lots of good into.

Picked up a 2012 street glide in Oct 2014 with 1400 miles for 16,000. deals are out there if your willing to look at a lot of bikes. I found the prices to be all over the place from 16k all the way up to modded bikes for upper 20k's.

No difference '12 to '13.

If you do consider a '14/'15, I would highly recommend long test rides or rental of both ('13 and '14) before making a choice. There are small differences that make the two fit riders of certain body shapes better or worse.

Many folks here prefer the '14 and newer. I had originally planned to buy a '14. But before spending that much money on either, I rented both for an entire day each. I loved the '13. It fit me perfectly and I got zero buffeting with the stock setup. On the '14, the slightly different ergonomics were uncomfortable, the suspension felt harsh, and I got extreme wind turbulence (buffeting) on the highway (vent open or closed made no difference).

A friend of mine, who is much taller and heavier, rented both bikes with me, and had the opposite experience.
