All the techno stuff is cool, but the BMW was no where close to being as comfortable as the Goldwing. Too cramped for me, but I am a big fellow. Honestly I think the BMW has TOO much techno stuff on it..... and they are damned expensive.
I agree. But after one tosses a bunch of money at a Harley, it does start to even out.
When I bought my Ultra 5 years ago, I wanted a comfortable, capable 2 up touring bike. I looked at the BMW and the Honda. Great bikes for sure. I was already familiar with the Ultra from numerous rentals while on vacation. For me, the Ultra fit the best and worked out great - no regrets. Hence the decision to upgrade to the new Rushmore bike I have now. It just works for us.
