Default Power Vision vs SE tune with Dyno

I am seeking other opinions I currently have a Power Vision but I feel due to my limited knowledge of tuning... My question is should I go back to dealer for a SE tune and dyno or...... Opinions thoughts PLease.. I am in no way slamming the Power vision just wondering due to my inability to tune it other then Fuel Moto tunes

I guaran damn tee you that a map from Fuel Moto, which comes from a dyno tune on a bike with your same parts, will be way better than getting a tune from a yutz at a dealer.

There are exceptions of course, but generally people who tune at dealers are not very knowledgeable or experienced.

Stay away from your dealer. Give Hillside a call and see they can give you a recommendation on a dyno tuner that actually has skills. I don't see a reason to replace your PV.

How far are you from Pocono Mountain HD?

Dave Stoddard, used to own his own shop, now works there, and is one of the best tuners in the country, and has a good understanding of the PV.

Don't get rid of the PV because YOU don't understand it, there are tune guys out there that do, call around....

I would stick with the power vision. You can set it to autotune and also talk to fuel moto he can build you a tune for your setup.

As said, stick with the PV and get auto tune. Very easy and user friendly, if I can use it anyone can. Had SERT on my wife's '09 with air, exhaust, cams. Not user friendly, spent 3 Saturdays plugged into a PC, ride, change cells, repeat. Let the auto tune do it.

Find the best dyno guy in your area that tunes with the PV. No need to respend on a SEPST.

I bought some TW-222 cams from Fuel Moto and already had the SE race tuner. FM helped me get a map for the PV. Then I set up a map it to mirror the PV and ran a few smart tunes. It was very good at first but is way better after the smart tunes. I think the timing and VE tables in the FM map were invaluable. Fuel Moto will help you and they are the best!

What troubles are you having with your PV?
It's fairly simple process - get a MAP that closely matches your set-up, down-load it, run the Autotune a few times - should be good to go...
Have you reached out to PowerVision for help?
