Many of us have had surgery for injuries and/or diseases. At times you think you'll never be like before. Stick with it, follow through on the the rehab and you'll be back in the saddle before you know it.
Good luck, if you heal up right you'll be better than new. I had my bicep repaired and multiple rotator cuff repairs at the same time. Just listen to the PT instructions and absolutely follow the rahab timelines, as painful as they are. I cut back on my pain meds in the begining by taking half a pill, and saved some of the halves for my first few weeks of rehab as it was pretty painful. Good luck
