I've got 2014 Limited. I put Jackpot 2-1-2 SS/Ceramic Headpipe, 4" Jackpot Slash up Cut pipes, Jackpot High flow air filter and lastly V&H FP3 tuner.
I called V&H and asked what pipes should I choose for the starting tune and they told me Monster Rounds.
OK here is my question, Which one of these do I choose as there are three choices.
1) Monster rounds
2) Monster rounds with Dresser Duals
3) Monster rounds with Power Duals
Are Jackpot 2-1-2 Head pipes more like dresser duals or power duals???
I completely understand that I'm not going to blow up the bike by choosing one over the other. I'm just hoping to save some time.
I did try searching the threads, but none actually answered my question. I did find one thread titled "Jackpot 2-1-2 vs Dresser Duals vs Power Duals"
and that thread just turned into a which one is better match. I really don't care which one is better (at least not in this thread). I really just want to know is a Jackpot 2-1-2 headpipe more like a dresser or power dual???
Power duals are 2-1-2 sort of. I had similar question,e mailed V&H and they recommended power duals. Send them e mail they were very helpful to me. The dresser duals are true duals so the power duals would be closer.
i just added 4.5 monster rounds from V&H Ovals and already had the Power duals.. With my build, the Power duals do help in the tuning for more HP/TQ. like any hot rod car, there is a crossover...bikes seems to idle more comfortable and throttle response seems better too..
True Duals will loose some TQ, and was told will feel lazy off the line.. will it really make a difference to the avg guy.. doubt it.. if u like to analyze the numbers from a dyno.. Yes.. power duals way to go..
