Guys I really need help. First ride of the year. Mods over winter included wrap around fender 21" front wheel. Second time , I put this on. The first time I put it on ,it bottomed out damaging top of fender. I took off put stock back on, until I had fender repaired and replaced with spacers in forks to. Hinder the bottoming out again. Man this thing rides like a tank. Hits bumps violently . Does this sounds like that would be a problem? If so, what is the fix? Love the look of the wrap around. Oh by the way I initially installed Race Tech lowering kit in front forks also. Would too much air in tires also contribute to possibly bouncing over bumps?
Thanks for your help.
How did you do your springs and fork oil? Did you measure the fork oil by height or quantity? Were your springs shorter and spacers longer?
That's a lot ask of a novice. I guess I'll have to put that to folk that actually did the work, I cannot answer any of those questions, but appreciate your response.
Your tire pressure would not account for this. More than likely your installer did not set your spacer length correctly to get the proper sag with your new springs and or does not have the correct amount of oil in the fork legs.

I'd also use caution when installing a 21" front wheel AND front lowering kit, just sayin'...
And the installer needs to make sure the correct amount/type of fork oil was used.
Upgraded springs and fresh oil should give you a very nice ride!
You have done everything you could to degrade the ride. You've degreased the suspension travel by lowering and decresased the shock absorption from the front tire be installing a 21" with less sidewall. There may be something else wrong but, I wouldn't expect much from the ride with that setup.

But I have a great ride, and put on lots of miles, with even more smiles.

Thanks to all. Yeah I look cool , but right sacrificed a lot to look cool. Going to spend more money to get it straight now. Take out the lowering kit , & get the progressive springs to go along with the rear progressive 444's,with proper gear oil, see what I get.
