Default Light bar modifacation
Got an old '92 EG and slowly de-chroming it. Was wondering if anyone has ever cut the cross-bar brace out on the passing lamp bracket? Any issues with vibration afterwards?

Looks like it would clean up the front end without spending alot of money. I know I'd have to deal with the cut/raw metal but that's doable.

Any pics or thoughts....

After you cut out the cross bar, you will learn exactly why there was a crossbar there in the first place.Compare the aftermarket mounts without bar, they are much thicker.stock is thin sheet metal, not very vibration resistant.

I cut out my brace a couple of years ago and have gone about 20,000 miles like that without any issues.
