I have the 1-3/4s and as said they are barely louder on my 110. Ive only put a couple hundred on them and I hardly notice it but my son following me they are louder, if thats any indication. I still have the cat in but have the FM 212 headpipe waiting to go in when I get the chance for a tune.
A suggestion for you to rid the reflective noise off the trailer is to put a turn down or turn out end on your muffler, that will reduce the resonance.
Thanks for the replies. With Final Shot and Yellowbird saying the 1.75" with the packing and muffler screens used are only slightly louder than stock. I ordered the 1.75" with the Muffler screens this afternoon. They have already been shipped and are scheduled for UPS delivery Monday.
Let us know what you think after the install. I would like the added performance of the straight through baffle but not interested in much more sound.

I'll post what I think and use a sound meter to measure the volume (db's) and a spectrum analyzer to to measure the frequency (tone) before and after the install. They are suppose to get here Monday afternoon so will be Monday night or Tuesday before I get them installed.
Sound is subjective, but I've got the 1.75 FS with the cat still in place. Louder than stock. A little bark if you twist the throttle, but for me, a nice compromise between louder but not too loud...
Not to hijack but can oneof you fine folks tell me if the CVO mufflers at 4"? I might pickup the screens from Fullsac if I think they'll fit in my Street Cannons.....
Thanks

Yes, the CVO mufflers are 4" cans. You can call Fullsac TN 928-505-2912 and ask if they will work or if even needed in the street cannons. Don't know if they are the same length as the CVO's or they may already have some type of screen.
I've never looked, Do the street cannons have the straight thru baffles (you can see all the way thru) or do they have the plug in the ends like the stock pipes? If they do have the straight thru baffles what diameter core are they?

Received the CVO Power Cores and muffler sleeves today. When I pulled the stock cores out the packing on one of them tore into multiple pieces that couldn't be reused. The other one came out in one piece so I thought I was in good shape since you only use half. I cut it in two and rapped one of the cores and installed it and the CVO Power Core with no issues. When I went to rap the second one the fiberglass tore into pieces. I called several dealers and auto parts stores looking for more, no luck. So I ordered some off Amazon.Com. it will be delivered Thursday. So I won't get to get the other muffler on and try them out till at least then.

Too bad theres no cycle gears around you. Any dirt bike shop has baffle material. I bought 2 packs for $20 had to split them in half so it would fit the can with the sleeve

I know you already ordered but most of the custom muffler shops have the packing as well.
I got the new fiberglass packing installed with the Muffler screens and 1.75" CVO Power Cores today. At idle they sound deeper and slightly louder. When riding I think they are actually a little quieter. I hear the air intake more than the exhaust when accelerating at highway speeds. I didn't want louder so I am happy with the results. Bike definitely pulls harder now especially in the higher gears.
Now for the actual numbers that I promised. These measurements were taken at idle 1' above the ground and 3' directly behind the rear tire. With the stock baffles I read 69.5db (sound level) and 90hz (frequency). With the 1.75" Power cores I got 69.3db so technically they are quieter but not noticeable to the ear. The tone was 85hz which is a slightly lower (bass) tone. When I pulled my old baffles out the packing in the right muffler fell apart. There was also some bluing in one spot on the right pipe indicating the packing wasn't keeping the heat away from the can. So the packing in that pipe wasn't doing much. The mufflers did have 20,000 miles on them. Because of that I believe my right side muffler was louder than it should have been. I bought new packing for my mufflers. So if you reuse the same packing material in yours your results may vary. I also have the stock headpipe with the cat. The cat quiets the exhaust down some also.
