Default Primary / clutch / compensator guidance needed.

Hi all,
Did the 107" upgrade (woods 555 cam) with Level B heads last fall on the 07 Ultra with 50k miles and the bike runs great. I need to address the clutch as it is slipping somewhat under full power before I bring it to the dyno for final tune (Power Vision doing the tune now). Threw the SE spring in last fall as well and it helped somewhat.

Looking to put in the Barrett Kevlar extra clutch kit Part 307-30-10013 as I am told it should hold the bike well. According to the comparable dyno sheets at Fuel Moto I should be looking at 107hp and 117tq.

Going to upgrade the compensator to the SE model while in there and not grinding on the case, so off comes the inner primary. A couple of questions arise.

1. Any thoughts on the Barrett Kevlar clutch holding well with this combo? I will add that I do a lot of two up riding (370lbs between the two of us) with full gear. Keep in mind that I already have the SE spring in there.

2. Anyone know where I can get a complete gasket kit for the primary side? I see that Cometic has a kit for $90 (part # C9173) but it appears to be lacking the inner primary.

3. I would assume that I should replace the bearing as well? Do have access to a press. Is the OEM bearing the way to go?

4. Since I am in this far, should I think about replacing the belt at 50k miles? Pricey I know.

Any other insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Go with the Baker Compensator when it comes out. Supposedly it will be out soon. There is also a centrifugal assembly that helps keep the clutch from slipping. My tech put it on my 11 FLHTK and no more clutch slipping. Let me see if I can find out what the brand is. Here is a link to Harley's unit: http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...qxgaAueh8P8HAQ

1. I dunno.

2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/PRIMARY-GASK...7edbc7&vxp=mtr

3. Inspect first, probably fine, but use either the HD bearing or maybe Baker if they make one for 2007+ models.

4. Inspect. Probably fine.

Good catch on the Ebay link. I will follow that route. Thanks.

Called over to Baker. Another 3 weeks. They are accepting pre-orders though. There are already 99 pre-ordered or so they say. $399 each they want. Thinking about that route.
