I wonder how it works if riding in a parade, that might drive people behind nuts, also will it blink when going up and down hills and around curves if it works by gravity.
I like the concept though of a blinking light when slowing down, or just remembering to lightly touch the brake when slowing when either downshifting or pulling in the clutch to adjust speed.
Bright *** Light seems a lot more practical and wouldn't have a bike without one. It is annoying enough just using a brake to anyone behind me and works great.
When I first saw a flashing brake light on a bike I thought it was cool. That is, until I followed that rider for a few miles in stop and go traffic.
We have garbage trucks with strobe lights all over them. School buses with white strobes on top. Construction vehicles with all color flashing lights. Toll road maintenance vehicles flashing. Fire trucks and cop cars flashing red, white, and blue. Cagers are buying blinkers for their high visibility brake lights. Rear turn signals are yellow on 80% of the vehicles on the road.
It all culminates in eye pollution.
I would like to have one that I could switch in and out of the circuit. Out for stop and go commuting and in for long lonely highways at night. But then I realized that I could actually tap my brake pedal 3 times and save a bunch of money.
This deceleration model seems like overkill. I don't apply the brake every time that I let off of the throttle.
But, to each: their own.

Ive been rear ended twice in 39 years of riding, around 275,000 miles. I Have a plate in my arm from one. If you spend time on a bike, there's a good chance it may happen, especially with all the the distractions these days........
I've been riding street for more than 30 years and visibility is very important, so if the flashing light is annoying to the driver behind you then they're paying attention. In today's world of most texting and everything else out on the road, riders need every advantage to stay safe. But then to each their own.Stay safe.
