Wanted a Harley...
Heritage was my choice....
Then started looking into a Road King...more options, pricing similar.
Next debate was color, everytime I saw a different color, "that" was the color I wanted.
Decided to rent a Road King, alas on Easter Sunday only one dealer in the area had any rentals and also open.
Ultra and Road Glides only thing they had.
Decided totake the Road Glide for the day, all by myself!
Did the backroads around the Seattle area, really enjoyed the day.
That was until toward the end when the liquid sunshine made it's debut!
That night compared specs on the Road King and Road Glide, very comparable, so would forget the Heritage and get a Road King!
A few nights later, thought back on how well the fairing worked and how nice it was to have tunes while I rode.
That's when I made my final choice........Road Glide!!!
$$$ down on Thursday night, hammered out the deal on Saturday afternoon (week ago) and rode it home!
No regrets at all, saw a black pearl yesterday, like my rental...great color in the sun, I went with vivid black, as dealer did not have the pearl in stock.
Some goodies I orderd at time of purchase will be installed this weekend while I fly home for 4 days of r&r, then pick it back up on Tuesday.
Hope to be able to see some sights here in the northwest weather and work permitting!!
Let the good times roll!
