For those that did not read Soos link, or haven't seen his listing in the "parts for sale" section(complete with pics of how they look on my bike), let me interject here and say that Soos T-6 aluminum ones would be far superior to the Kuryakyn ones.........How do I know? Glad you asked, because I have the Kuryakyn ones and even though they are functionable, I worry about the durability of the Kuryakyn spacers. I bought mine shortly before Soos decided to give this a go or else I would have bought his straight up.

Easy mod and althoughalotof us have done additional mods to our bikes, THIS little mod, to me, is well worth the 30-45minutes it takes to put these on.

About the scraping(again explained in the thread in the For Sale section)....I had these extenders on during an Arkansas/Okla. trip and on Scenic 7, HWY123, and Hwy 23(pigtrail) I never scraped and I had her leaning overREALLY good too.

Good mod and supporting a forum member is a win-win situation. Don't forget us Soos when you get famous.[8D]

Thanks.

How long did it take you to install them?

I just got a set of spacers from Soos and got them installed. Very nicely done kit, great price and makes a world of difference. Anybody wanting to do this mod should contact Soos.
Maybe an hour total. Have to get your jack out and lift the bike up to install the left side. Bolts are kind of hard to get at but all in all not to bad of a job.

WoW! Who would have thought that 3/4" would make this much difference? I extended out my footboards with the kit from Kury and man, let me tell you what! What an improvement!Glad I did it!
Big improvement. I put the Kury's on my old RK, then removed them for use on my new SG. Unfortunately, the SG's lowered rear end caused the floorboards to scrape far too easily with the extenders installed, so I raised them a notch to the highest setting. That did the job nicely and I haven't scraped the boards since, although the kickstand makes contact with the pavement fairly easily as it always did. Not much can be done about that.

After about five minutes I didn't even notice the higher floorboards, although I did need to adjust the shifter. The rear brake pedal is fine either way. So, if you take the corners in a spirited manner and are having trouble with scraping, move 'em on up a notch. I don't think it'll be a problem for anyway except maybe people with very long legs.

Put my spacers on last night from Soos.
Nice!
As soon as I get a flat rear tire fixed, I'm gonna put some miles on em.

Thanks UltraKla$$ic and to everyone else out there that has buried me in PM's and emails. I never thought this would catch on. I hope the kit lives up to your expectations.

Lata,

I would have purchased from you if I had known.
I would much rather support a Forum Member than some company I have no interest in.
Maybe next-time..what else do you offer that I might be interested in
