Anyone running about 500 lbs on their bike doing well with Ohlins
That’s about exactly where I am at weight wise on my 2017 Ultra Limited. I’m going to be doing a side by side in a few weeks with the Pro-actions and Ohlins 2-2a adjustables that I picked up from a couple of members here last year.
DJ at Pro-Action has been extremely helpful in getting me lined out on a set up. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the other vendor (actually the complete opposite) but luckily there have been some OUTSTANDING forum members that have stepped up to help with the Ohlins (which I can’t thank them enough).
I think in the end it’ll be a coin toss as I’ve heard great things about both.
I also have the 14” Pro-Actions on the radar that DK customs is selling with a 1” lowering block for our weight range. Those come with a lifetime warranty
I know this is an old thread, but why would Ohlins (I bowed my head as required when I typed that) require an over 21 yr old person to sign for shocks?? Are they a lethal weapon or something? That seems a bit much.

I think the signature required in these cases has to do with the value of the items in the package, trying to ensure it isnt left on someones front steps unattended, with the potential for getting stolen.

Pretty sure that is it... A lot of companies I deal with won't ship to my house.. I have it shipped here because we have a receiving dept.

Exactly so, it's routine for high value items around here.
