I have the Comfort Stitch on my'06 RKC and it is great. The wife can only go about 1-2 hours on the stock seat but after I bought the Comfort Stitch she has no prob with 8 hrs. Did it twice last fall and I never heard a complaint from her. I recommend the Comfort Stitch 100%.

Just my 2 cents, I bought the sun downer for my 07 st glide and I hate it, my wife hates it, I just sold it yesterday. I was going to buy a comfort stitch seat to begin with but everyone I talked to said the sun downer was the most comfortable seat made, if it is I'll sell my bike and go back to jap bikes. We rode 285 miles last Saturday and was so tired from the seat we couldn't get comfortable on it to ride on Sunday, but as someone already stated, no seat is going to be the same for different people. I don't want to sound like I'm bashing the sun downer, it's probably a great seat for the right person, just not at all for me. I am 5ft10 and weigh about 240, I am either buying a comfort stitch or pillow seat this week to replace my sun downer, I'll post which I buy and how I like it after this weekend. By the way we have about 1400 miles on the seat, so it wasn't just a first impression.

The passenger section is lower and approx two inches narrower. The wife loves it.

Might want to consider a C&C Sport Tour seat. I have one on my Street Glide. It looks great and is comfortable for both me and the passenger. The price is right also at about $350. You can check 'em out here: www.ccseats.com

I just got home with my new seat,I decided to go with the pillow seat. I made my decision mainly due to the soft passenger backrest pad for the pillow seat, and the seat feels a little softer than the comfort stiched does. I plan on putting a few miles on it this weekend to see if it's better for me than the sun downer was. I will tell you it does take away from the clean street glide look but if our butts are happy that big puffy seat will look great to us.

I have a Sundowner, the one made for the Street Glide on my SG. Wife loves it and I like it also.
Same here but I switch to a Mustang Solo when the wife is on her bike.

Ride Safe,

Mike
