Default Rear rim question

If I install an 18" rear HD Aggressor or Agitator rim on my 2012 FLHX along with a 180/55B18 tire am I going to run into any issues other than a little bit harsher ride because of the shorter sidewall?

You can combat any increased harshness by using a certain brand of after-market custom shocks!

no, i don't think you'll even notice the difference between the 16 and the 18.

I know that the CVO's are set-up to roll with the 19/18 combination but wasn't real sure about any issues with just a plain old standard FLHX. The overall diameter of the 18" set-up is about .75" taller than the stock 16". So if I go with the 19/18 combo I shouldn't have to install the spring lowering kit up in front to keep the bikes geometry relatively close to stock spec's? Will I need to come up with a different Kickstand to adjust for the difference in height?

that 3/4'' is total overall diameter, so it really only raises your bike 3/8''. I put this same setup on the wife's 2012 road glide custom, which already comes with the shorter shocks. no different springs in the forks, no different kickstands, etc. you can just go as is.

Yep...raises the bike 3/8" and reduces fender clearance 3/8".
