V&H Fuel-Pak
I've got the vance and hines on my '07 Ultra. The Fuel-Pak is great for form following function. It was intended for the simple mod of just air intake and exhaust. Do much more than that and you'll probably want to get something more intended for that purpose. Plus on the grand scale of things, they are only a couple hundred bucks on ebay, which makes them a great stop gap for down the road and you want to turn your bike into a big bore. Mine works really well with my duals and ovals. No heat issues... couple times my oil guage thermometer said I was at like 170 deg. (of course once was riding in upper 20 degree weather) but typically its sits right around 190... and I'm averaging probably around 47 mpg. Works great for what its intended, then down the road you can probably sell the thing and get the thundermax and not be out too much cash. I dunno, I swear by my Fuel-Pak
Guess we will see now how good the FP is with the SE-II Pipes you stole from me that I didn't even have for 1hr.

I run my FP with my RH TDs and love the sound. I do wish I could 'tweak' the settings a little but nobody seems to know what the codes are for. I can, from time to time, going from say 1/2 throttle to NO throttle get a little popping. Mostly a backpressure issue but would be nice to see if I could tweak the settings a little to adjust for this.
I'm in agreement the FPs are good for simple exhaust changes but I don't think I would use them for internal engine changes. I'd go with the thundermax.
FP works like advertized and purchased mine from ebay for $200. Great deal and great product IMHO.
Oh Yeah.... now gimme my pipes back.... LOL
