Default Dyno cost??

How much should i pay for a dyno at my HD dealership? Also has anyone ever used the Dynamic Dyno download. I read where you can download a program and, using a recorder somehow get your engine dynoed, never heard of it thought i would check here.

The dealer where I work charges a flat rate of $250. Are you running a PCIII or SERT? The place where I took mine to get dyno'd (no I didn't have it done at the dealer where I work ) charged me $200 and with the PCIII used tuning link software....I never heard of a dynamic dyno download.

The dealer generally is more than happy to tell you how much you'll pay. Mine has the cost posted prominently on the board that lists service prices. (Don't recall it offhand, but I kinda remember thinking it was under $300.)

Total of (4) dyno runs is the approximate cost to purchase a DTT and get away from Dyno runs for ever except to pull out a bragging sheet!

Look on the DynoJet web site for other authorized tuners. Others rates are usually cheaper than dealers. I got mine done for $150 and he allowed me one retune if I had any problems.

Had a quote for an independent wrench right at $400, said it would take about 5 hours to do a proper tune with a SERT on an 07 RKC. I thought this seemed a little high but the guy has a good reputation, that alone may be worth the extra bucks...

i have an 06 rk classic with SE Stage 1, A/C, download, that's it. bike has a lot of decel pop and is prone to stalling in heavy traffic...hoping a dyno might fix the heat issue, just don't wanna pay that kinda money.

I talked to ***'s HD in Asheboro NC yesterday about having my 04 RK done.
They said $ 70.00 per hour. This includes tuning. They said probably 2 hours total.
I am getting an appointment for next week, and I will post just what happened.

local aftermarket shop charges 50$ for a baseline run then 50$ per hour for tweaking if i wanted my map customized. He says usually it takes less than 1 hour for both, so i figure 100$ total. I just put on a PCIII a couple weeks ago and am trying to find some time to get the bike dynoed.
