new bars

I am considering replacing the stock bars on my 08 road king with the Heritage style. Difference of about 1.5 inches closer reach.
Anybody know if my existing cables etc will reach?

From all that I've read, the heritage bars supposedly bolt right on.

But I'm not 100% sure

Put the Heritage Style bars on my 2013 RK. For me they are a big improvement over the stack bars. Rolled them back a bit after I installed them to bring them down a little and a bit closer. Now I can sit more upright rather than reaching forward. More comfortable ride for me. Also, my existing cables worked fine.
