OK, I havent used mine yet but I have to ask a dumb question. Is it more about just taking one or both hands off the bars for a few minutes or just being able to relax your grip and not take the hands completely off the bars?
It allows you to be able to rest one hand at a time if needed but the big plus is it allows you to just rest your hands on the bars and not have to grip. I use it all the time when free of traffic.
I live in the "middle of no where" and use my cruise control almost every day.
I also found that it seems to truly help improve the miles-per-gallon I get. When I'm going cross-country with the cruise control on, all day long, I get far better mileage than when I'm manually controlling the throttle.
