Haven't had many opportunities for new items - suggestions welcome.
The test bike for the CD Bullet Ringz was an Amber Whiskey '14 HD Ultra Limited - so the choice was to go with all amber - lenses, LEDs in the (chrome) bezel & in the center.
I've since seen them with amber lenses, smoke lenses, chrome bezels, black bezels, amber bezel LEDs and white bezel LEDs - in all possible combinations - all look very nice and, of course, bright.
As with most accessories for a bike - it's a matter of personal taste. The lens color had no noticeable effect on the brightness of the LED.
Hope this answers your question.
That specific part answered my question! Thanks for the quick response. I will definitely be putting these on my new Low Rider S.
"Quality product". I might beg to differ. Ordered the kit through my local HD dealer which comes with fronts, rears and smoked lenses. Out of the box, 3 leds not working. HD dealer wants entire kit back so they can send back to Custom Dynamics. What the hell, I love doing stuff twice and then waiting 2 weeks for it!
Why buy a third-party product from an HD dealer when you can deal directly with the manufacturer? Sounds like you're more frustrated with the dealer's middleman return scheme than the product itself.
2 bikes with lots of CD additives; I'm a very happy customer here!

I understand your frustration and its unfortunate it happened...however, they are a standup company and offer a lifetime warranty on their leds...with this said, you should get a new set without any problems. You do have to return the defected one.
I have them front and back. I changed the rear fender to a SG and I bought the bullet housings for the front and swapped out the pancakes. I love the look.
