Knock on wood. I have never had a flat. Guess I’m due. Questions: What are you carrying with you in case of a flat tire? I’ve heard about Green Gue, plugs, 12v air pumps, and so on. Does anything really work? Any recommendations based on experience? I guess that's why you have roadside assistance but who wants to wait 3 or 4 hours out in the middle of nowhere?
yup,a compressor and install some Ride-On in the tires because it not only keeps the tires properly balanced thru their complete srvc life it also protects tubeless tires from up to 1/4" punctures from nails, screws, etc.
BTW,Ride-On can be installed in new tires and or tires that are currently on the bike too as per instructions from the mfg.
I don't recommend plugging a motorcycle tire.
Woke up on a Sunday morning while on a trip and found the rear almost flat. Adding air found a hole, plugged it hoping to get to the closest dealer over 100 miles away. Plug spit out on the Hiway and put us in the ditch uninjured but not real happy.
Well over half a day wasted between waiting in a trailer and new tire.

Does AAA cover motorcycles? I recall in my last reading of the benefits it does't extend to motorcycles....but I've been wrong before.
AAA has an RV/Motorcycle add-on to the Plus or Premier card. Might not be available in Hawaii though. Wasn't when I was growing up there, but check with your local office.
