Default Wheel Swap

I have a 2000 electra glide standard , i have installed a 18x3.5 front wheel from a 2012 street glide with no issues , i am now trying to install a 16x3 rear wheel from a 2006 street glide and i have run into problems , i swapped the bearings and center tube to the 3/4 inch bearings and tube and used my original wheel spacers , installed the wheel on the bike to find the belt rubbing the tire and the wheel tire assembly sitting off center (to the left) inside the fender. Any help on what i need to do to make this work would be appreciated thank you in advance !!!!!!

I would check to see if the spacers are on the correction side.

Otherwise you may need to use spacers for the year wheel

if the wheel is centered an the rotor doesn't drag you can try a small pulley spacer. I put one on my 94 softail when I put a deuce wheel on the back.

Basically a duplicate thread with a different title. See link below for the continuing saga and conclusion.
