Don't worry the dealer will run it backwards on the dyno turning your mileage back to 999 so it falls under the 1000 service. The big question is what oil are you going with!
For warranty issues wouldn't the burden of proof fall on the MOCO?
To prove missing a scheduled service caused a mechanical issue would probably be pretty hard for the MOCO and a dealer.
Bike is running good so no issues to worry about.
Reading the warranty its clearly states its your responsibility to service the bike according to the schedule and IF something happens your claim MAY be denied.
Serious? Well there is a chance your dealer could void a repair. But I'd say the chances are slim to none.
Hell if it makes you feel better, I have never taken my bike to any dealer since new. Bought it new 2013 and it's got about 10K on the clock. Yes I rolled the dice but I paid cash so was not too worried. And with the money I saved I bought lot's of cool tools and a lift table. Then put the rest of the savings towards future repairs, though Im looking to add a Road King to the stable for long distance rides since King's have cruise.
They will charge you a Dollar a mile so bring a extra 500 bucks with you just kidding but bring a extra 500 bucks anyway because they'll find something else to charge you for.
Don't worry................The big question is what oil are you going with!
I am going with the HD regular oil for the engine and primary, and Spectro 75W-140 synthetic gear oil for the tranny since I don't plan to change it as often as the others. I plan on changing the engine oil probably in about 3K miles to Mobil 1 20W-50 synthetic.

You will notice a big difference with the Spectro in the tranny. Great stuff!
