Default Hello everybody.

I new a member and i'm searching to find what's the problem on my Road king flhrc 2001. This week after a little ride, when i tried to restat my bike, the head lamp and the neutral green light don't light and i can't restart it. i look in the fuse box in the left side cover and the fuses are ok. I don't know whats the problem and i need help whit that. I speek french and it's hard for me to explain in english.

Got to agree with checking the battery. Remove seat and with (hopefully) a quality digital volt ohm meter the battery should read about 12.4 volts. If less than that the battery may well be toast. While you are there check to make sure the terminal nuts are tight.

thank's for your answer the first thing i do was cheking the batterie and i put my charger on it and the batterie was 90 % of it's power. i bought that batterie 3 years ago and recharging it once a month in winter, I'm shure it's not the batterie. My digital speedometer light is on and i can see the km on it.

Thank again for your help

Battery might just have a surface charge on it. Do a cranking test on it. Leave the leads to the meter on the battery and hit the starter and see what the battery voltage drops down too. Anything below 10 volts and it's bad.

Welcome and your English is way better then my french ever will be so no worries about your Grammer we understood you.

Charging once per month in the winter is not good. Get a battery tender.

Take your battery and have it load tested.

Possible loose connection, maybe replace inline fuse set up

Check the connections to the battery as well. Sometimes unseen corrosion can form between the battery terminal and the cable.

My 2007 did that and it was the hot terminal that connects to the starter it was loose, the wire was loose inside the terminal.
