OK.... so the primary cover is replaced, but one of the short bolt heads stripped out, thankfully i was able to get it out... the derby cover is on, the upper trans cover is on, the trans side cover will not fit on my specific ride, so i have to re order it, if it exists for the 2015 street glide special with hydraulic clutch, and have to remove the headers to change out the cam cover..... so that will have to wait till i get back from my frontsight class this weekend... re-verified the wiring schematics with the service manual, and everything appears to be wired properly, but still no AUX lights when the key is on and the switch is on. tried a different ground thanks for the advice, ( the post that the nuts tighten down to hold on the light bars) still no joy... perhaps it is from using a quick connect instead of an inline splice... i will have to try that next and see if it finally works.as soon as i get it all done, i will post the pics
What type of aux lights are you using? LEDs are polarity sensitive. Just throwing it out there. If you're using the switch that is for factory aux lights, remember they don't work on high beam unless the harness is modified or you buy a harness from Harley to make them work with both.
Edit: sorry forgot you said it's a 15. I think the dealer can activate aux lights on with both low and high beams with a digital technician

i double checked to make sure i didn't have the wires reversed, and according to the service manual and the installation instructions that came with the kit ( harley parts too by the way since you asked) i have the wires in the block right. i dont see why the quick connect wouldn't work instead of a splice, but if i have to i must... i also found out that they don't yet make a transmission side cover for the 2015 with a hydraulic clutch.. so that part has to go back...heh. oh well.
ok i promised before and after pictures, so here we go hopefully these will work. you cant really see them but i put a set of protective bars on the bags, and replaced the stock light with a daymaker as well as daymaker aux lights. now to get the aux lights to actually work lol

Looks great. I was a chasing an issue with aux lights for a while only to realize that I didn't tighten the brackets tight enough to the bike. Once I did, the lights worked. I tried various grounds to narrow it down and after an hour realized my mistake.
Hid just doesn't work in a headlight designed for a halogen bulb, optical engineering,Google hid in halogen light . Then buy it and ride in rain, fog or a humid night and let us know how you like it. Brighter halogen bulbs in the spots and a JWSpeaker Evo 2 led headlight seems to be a good compromise.
Beulligan, you answered my question and it didnt even sink in through the cement i call my skull. thanks for your insight, even though i missed it the first time, i will be taking it to the dealer later this week to be setup, and they guys said they would hook me up with the AUX lights working on low and high beams. oh and on a side note, if anyone is looking at or has heard of recluse clutches, if you can afford it GET ONE my hog is no longer a pain in the butt to ride in slow traffic... go to www.rekluse.com
