I got a deal on the Harley lowers for about $450. List for painted lowers is $674. Ember red sunglo is a tough one to paint and it wasn't a sure thing the paint shop could get it right. Harley has their own paint codes and the cross reference was not precise to other paint brands used. No regrets. If anyone wants the ebay lowers cheap.....

When I researched, The extra mounting hardware was expensive on ebay and the OEM Harley fitting to attach the bottom of the fairing was simple and cheap.

i bought a set of these, painted them, put them on a 2004 road glide that i built from a wreck.i paid 69.00 plus 15.00 shipping.when i installed them ,one of the snaps wouldnt snap securely.i sent them an email wanting a replacement, they credited my account 20.00 for the bad snap.i bought a whole set of snaps locally.so i ended up with 54.00 in mine.

$88 shipped plus about $5 of hardware from McLendons:

Install instructions were terrible but after a few youtube video it all went together well. I got them out for a short ride today and loved them.

So I have been riding around with the vents closed and all is good. I tried with the vents open and the ratchet doesn't seem to lock them in the open position without rattling. I have read other posts about the same trouble the vents rattling. I found an easy fix with 2 zip ties routed through the fairing and around the vent:

I have been riding like this for a few days and no rattling at all.
