Default Tour pack cable

Anyone have any good methods of keepin the lid cable from always slipping out the front about the time we close it. Thought about attaching some kind of elastic band to it to keep tension on it.

Take one end off and put a twise in it. If it still sticks out twist the other direction (2 turns).

I use the cable to close the lid. Push the center of the cable, catch the lid and set it down.

Mine folds in with no problem. As mentioned above - twisting the cable should do it.
