So I am putting together a tour pack for the couple trips a year we do, I picked up an 06 king pack and need a quick detach bracket. Will a 13 bracket fit on my 14? I already know I will have some fab work to do in order to mount tour pack to bracket.

 

I'm 99.9% sure it will fit. I am also pretty sure you shouldn't have to do any fab work to fit the 13 bracket to the 06 tour pak. You should be good to go.

 

The geometry of the docking points is the same so the mount should fit fine. I have a 14 pak and mounting rack on my 13 bike, I think the only difference in mounting racks is the 13 has holes and the 14 has elongated slots.

 

The rack will fit. You may have to do some drilling to mount the box on it.

The 13 and 14 racks are different do to the shape of the bottom of the box its self...not just the holes.
