Default 2001 Electra Glide

New member with an issue. I have a 2001 electra glide with 108,000 miles does not leak any oil or smoke but every 3 or 4 hundred miles I need to add about 3/4 of a quart of oil. I cannot think of any issues maybe you can help.

How long has it been doing it? Is the primary level over filled? It's possible for it to be leaking past the crank seal into the primary.

Try using Amsoil. Cut down on my oils consumption Matter of fact, helped in my cages as well..

From Florida, welcome to the forum!

Yup, just like shadow replied or it could need new umbrella valves in the heads.

My 2000 has 150,000 miles on it and still uses little oil but i installed new (take off,) heads at 75,000. You won't know until you do a compression and leak down test but if I was to guess I would suspect valve seals.

This sounds more like it. Neither test is too difficult, you may need assistance keeping the rear wheel from spinning on the leak down test.

I wouldn't worry about it --
my 2000 uses a little bit of oil -- 110,000 miles only the cam chain tensioners replaced
