Default S&S 551 Cam Question

On a 2015 Road Glide, is the easy start necessary or that beneficial? With $100 difference in price, just curious.

Newer bike has electric compression releases in the heads. wouldnt need easy starts. How ever you can turn off the electric one with a tuner and use easy starts.

I installed the 551c's in my 2012 103ci. I did not use the easy starts, because I already have the ACR's.

Agreed. In addition. Another "trick" my dyno guy told me was: Just after I hit the run switch, press start. The bike fires up faster than letting all the clicks and pops of the fuel system and electronics stop.
Starts in a revolution or two.....

I would always wait till everything cycled and then attempted a start. Recently I heard of just hitting it fast and it works way better.
