2002 FLHTCUI stereo aux in?

Really? One side only?
I plugged my Zumo 660 in with a stereo cable this morning and it seemed to work. Mind you, I didn't sit on the bike. I'll try it again tomorrow.
Rear speaker volume control didn't work though.

[[ If you plug in the front aux. you will only get sound out of one side on the bike. You need a cassette tape adapter that slides in the tape slot with a wire that plugs in the mp3 player. The sound will come out all 4 speakers then. ]]
No, this isn't right.
I had a 2000 Road Glide that I put 136,000 miles on before I traded for another one.
It had the same 3.5mm input jack on the front of the audio unit.
It provided full stereo sound when connected to my minidisc player for almost all those miles.
I sense the poster above wasn't using the proper plug or connecting cable.
