....................for now, anyway; there is always more to do. That blank spot on the fairing above the stereo needed something andI had seen a number of bikes with the "Road King" Emblem in this spot. So I got a fender emblem, removed the mounting studs and mounted it with body molding double sided adhesive tape. It helps remind me this is still a "Road King"when thefairing is on.
Looks real good...
Is the fairing removable and if so whats it weigh? Have you tried to remove it and re-install it and if so how much of a pain was it?

Thanks. It is removable. Weighs about 21 lbs. I puta towel over the nacelle (mine is painted so it's more delicate than chrome). Loosen the four windshield mount nuts. Un plug the connecting wire. Takes about 5 minutes to put on or take off. I have a lined storage box in my garage to keep it in when it is not on the bike.
Looks great Eddie. Man, I love my rk custom, but your is awsome. Love the horn setup and the hard bags. Are you having any issues with the bags running against the seat? I love the fairing also, but I just added apes, so until I get tired of them, a fairing is out of the picture. Could you still add some gauges to the fairing on either side of the emblem? Nice place for a clock or tach or something? Just my thoughts.
