Default STA-BIL® 360° Powersports - report (cuddos)

Bought a bottle to put in my truck. There are two types of the 360 about $5 difference in price but they do the same things or so says the package. one is a dark red bottle, other is like an orange color, and the red was a couple OZ more but treated same amount of fuel. I got the cheaper of the two. See how it does. Mr. Stabil can you answer the above question please.

Got my pack a couple of weeks ago and just now had a chance to use it. The 360 performed just as I thought it would. Had a couple mpg increase which I figured would happen.

I also had an issue with knock during this time of year cause of heat. Added the octane boost and not one time did I hear it knocking under wide open acceleration. Just wish there was a way to buy this in bulk.

Good point. To STA BIL, is there a dealership program such as Amsoil has?

HDRetired,

If I am understanding you correctly you would be referring to our STA-BILŽ 360° Protection (found in auto parts stores in a box) and our updated STA-BILŽ 360° Performance (10oz bottle).

We are transitioning our 360° items so they will all reflect the STA-BILŽ 360° Performance name. We apologize for the confusion since there are multiple bottles out there since we are doing a running change.

I hope we answered your question and if we did not please let us know.

Have a great weekend!

I usually don't make a point of using additives rather go to known locations for premium gas. But, I was intrigued by the information in the post and PMd the rep about their products. I received a prompt response and was informed that that requests were flowing into their facility and I would receive a sample bundle of products as soon as possible.

Within two weeks of my PM the brown truck showed up at my house. After opening the package I noticed several products but, went directly for the above mentioned product. Decided it was a great weekend in the forecast so went to the gas station topped her off and added the fuel treatment. Five hundred miles later I am sold on their product. I noticed better throttle response and increased fuel mileage while varying riding conditions. I have a 2010 Street Glide with stage II modifications and tuned with TTS with one of the best tuners on the east coast.

I didn't rely on seat of pants report although there was obvious improvements throughout the rpm range but, what surprised me the most was increased fuel economy. Riding both highway and single lanes throughout the five hundred miles I consistently showed 44.2 miles per gallon. Will definitely be a repeat customer, just need to find their STA-BILŽ 360° Powersports products at local automotive stores.

Thank you STA-BIL for the bundle....
Glad you enjoyed your free samples and did the obligatory post on the forum.

Default STA-BILŽ 360° Powersports - report (cuddos)

@STA-BIL - not really. Is their a difference in the product. The orang and red? The red is in a box and orange is in a bottle with no box. The red also seems a little thicker. Just trying to figure out the difference or if their is no difference but color and thickness.
Other question. I can't find the 104oct at the parts store any idea why? Been wanting to put that in my truck as well.
Also a question. Where can I get the bottles for the motorcycle at? Have not used them but when I do I'm sure I'm going to want more and wondering where I can purchase them at
Last question. 303 products where can I get these at. I already love the cleaner and protectant used it on my bike seat a week later still clean and no dust on it. (Rain and to busy to get on it)

Thanks hope I cleared up my questions for you. I'm through a half a tank almost on my truck with the bottle of orange 360 seems to be running fine still

Sorry that we did not answer your questions the first time around!

1. There is a difference in the products that you mentioned
1a. The "red" would be our STA-BILŽ Storage product. This is still our most effective fuel stabilizer and updated claims for the product will be coming this fall that guarantees up to 24 months of storage (vs. 12 currently). The difference in that and the orange products is that STA-BILŽ Storage is a concentrated fuel stabilizer and the orange products (now STA-BILŽ 360°™ Performance) are more of your all-in-one type of products for more of an everyday fill up type of application. STA-BILŽ Storage does not have as many fuel cleaning or water handling properties as the other products you asked about. It is simply a matter of application.

http://www.goldeagle.com/product/sta...uel-stabilizer

STA-BILŽ may appear thicker if it is a very old bottle and has darkened up a bit. We recommend using our products within 2 years of opening them to avoid this issue. Nonetheless, as long as there is no sediment at the bottom of the bottle, you can safely use that bottle.

1b. The two orange products (one in a box and one in the bottle) are going to be all-in-one type of product moving forward. That one product will be STA-BILŽ 360° Performance and it will help keep the fuel system clean, help prevent ethanol damage, handle water, stabilize fuel (12 months), and prevent rust & corrosion - both above and below the fuel line. For the time being there may be a few bottles on the shelf due to a "running change" but in the future you will see the bottle below in regard to our all-in-one type of product.

2. It is interesting that you have had trouble finding 104+Ž Octane Boost as it is generally available at all auto parts retailers. Where have you gone specifically? We may be able to guide you to a local shop. If not, we do sell to some online retailers such as Amazon and they do currently carry that item.

3. As for our power sports specific items, those are also sold to Amazon for online retail. Otherwise, we do sell to Tucker Rocky (among other power sports distributors). Dealers that purchase from Tucker Rocky have access to our products currently. Those that do not currently carry it can reference the part numbers below if they wish to bring in our items.

STA-BILŽ 360°™ Powersports - 22292
104+Ž Octane Boost Powersports - 29224

4. 303Ž Products are a little tricky right now. The auto parts retailers are starting to carry some items but not nation wide. These products sell very well in marine markets so you may want to either try a local marine dealer or online retailers.

Hopefully this helps! Please let us know if we have more questions to answer/clear up.

Have a great day!!
