There are 3 o-rings inside, one of the online parts diagrams like Granite HD will show you. There is a certain way to put the oil pump o-ring on... I can't remember for sure but I think you slide it over the tube rather than putting it in the hole.
You'll need some way of locking the cam sprockets while you loosen the bolts. I bought the tool from George's Garage, was about 25 bux I think, works well.
The Heartland tool is a good one. Make sure you get the later model that's cut out so you can see what you're doing. It's pretty tense as you put more & more pressure on the bolt until the bearing finally pops.
Get to youtube & watch the video from S&S, very complete.
Mine did not want to pop into the bearings for removal. The instructions tell you to tap them in. I tapped, and TAPPED, felt like I was going to damage something if I hit any harder. I ended up taking the tool over to a vice & squeezing it closed just a touch, then it worked great. You have to be careful here, it's hardened steel & too much collapsing can snap it.
Maybe I just got a tight one.
My S&S lifters came packed in oil. I used a squirt can to fill them up .
well , i did mine a few months ago( 2010 ultra classic), but i didnt change no bearing , no push rod or even a lifters.
i bought a james gasket kit that have everything in it.
the oring that u need are 3 . 2 of them are small size and one is big (1/2 in and 3/4in), but like i said i had them in kit.
u will need a locking tool , bought on ebay for 20$. make it alot easier .
u will need a gasket for the exhaust . and adjustable push rod if not using the one u have .
Did the Andrew 57 back in May. Real big difference, a lot of pull.
You might want to change out the lifters while your at it, I put the S&S HP lifters in. It helps with the noise from the Cams.
I also added a SS filter so the bike can breath a little better.
Had it Dyno Tuned after and was;
94.4 HP
106.7 Tourge.
