Not responsive to the OP's question, but I did a chrome wheel exchange with Bikes 2 NV, installed angled aluminum valve stems, added dyna beads and clean them with S100. All is good.

Hear good things about ***** Shiny, as well.
S100 wheel cleaner is awesome on mine as well spray let sit come back wash and they shine
Why not many people like the 28 spoke wheels. First they are 100% a pain in the **** to clean and when they are clean they don't look much better than they dirty.
The contrast chrome knuckles do look better but the problem is they are only partially chrome, salt and debris will get under the edges of the chrome and sooner or later the chrome will start peeling or bubbling, And of course there still a pita to clean.
The full chrome are the best looking of the bunch but as stated a pita to clean.
I have been looking for new wheels to replace my knuckles, But My general rule is anything I put on the bike has to do something to enhance performance or comfort. Since a new set of wheels doesn't make it ride better or preform better the only excuse I can come up with is it will make it easier to clean. 8~)
The biggest pain in my a$# was air pressure checks with my arthritic hands and fingers. Just by luck few weeks back after a service I was looking at wheels again just to see how much of a 2nd mortgage I would need to buy new ones. I ran across a set of Air Striker wheel off a late model street glide with tires and rotors I bid $375 shipped knowing I would not win them. I quest it was meant to be I will post pictures tomorrow all I have with me are too large for uploading here
