I've tried posting pictures but it keeps saying a moderator has to approve it before they're viewable. If they don't show up let me know and I can email them to you. It's really a very clean look without having to do any body work or spend a whole lot of money.
I have a '14 RK. I've been posting recently about switching to SG/RG-style rear bullet turn signals. Another forum member informed me he installed Rear Bullet Turn Signal # 68997-09 on his '15 RK...he indicated it was a relatively easy install and bolted right up to the rear fender....he also indicated he used the stock license plate lamp wire vs the corresponding kit part because it was a simple plug-in. I'm hoping to do this mod soon for my '14 RK.

just ran across this post, appears to be about eight months old. If you still have those pictures available of your road king with those alterations, can you please email them to me? I am looking to do what sounds like the exact same conversion to the rear of the RK 15 model

Magnut1, Do you know the part number or manufacturer of your license plate mount. I'm going to relocate mine on a '90 FLHS and like your set up. Pretty sure that I can come up with one or fab one for less than $50 from Softbrake. Don't mind drilling the rear fender as it'll be getting paint anyway.
