Default Nine weeks later....

So today, nine weeks after the Tombstone incedent I finally got my Ultra back from the shop. Dropped it off on 7-16 when the painted parts arrived only to find three hours later that the left fork tube and triple trees we toast as well. So, more parts had to be ordered and a supplement filed with insurance. All in all I have nothing to complain about as both the wife and I were unscathed and the bike was fixed only costing me $500 of the $5000 total repair bill. Now it's time to ride, unfortunately it's hotter than hell here in the desert and monsoon season as well! Glad we didn't have any summer road trips planned.

That's some big damage that should've been caught by your insurance adjuster.

Took her out for 100 miles today and the damage appraiser said that he thought there would be that additional damage, but they did not see it until they tore it down. No issue with me as I expected it.

I had a hit and run 2 years ago, luckily a good samaritan caught the ladys license plate, her insurance adjuster came out and tried to cut me a $500 check for $1500 worth of damage, this was after a repair shop quote of $1500, some companies penny pinch or are just plain dumbtarded lol
