I have the harley ones on my 14 sg. When i was out west of my trip i needed to open them and direct more air towards me cause i felt like I was gonna melt out there in the heat. Glad I had the option to open them. Well worth the few extra bucks is my .02's on it.
I'd go with the HD deflectors that can be opened. Mine have been opened since summer started. Makes a world of difference in the heat of summer. Gotta be careful though. Open them too far and I get too much helmet buffeting. Spend the extra dough. I'd bet you'll be glad you did.

Same here, really glad I got the ones that open. Gives that wind in your face back even with these batwings and windshields. Same experience though, buffeting is increased if opened to much.
I didn't have them on my '05. My '14 came with the factory adjustable ones. Having the ability to direct air to your legs, chest, face is a great asset on a hot day. It helps to keep the air off you when it's cold out. I can't see any reason to install non adjustable wings.
