My fuel light on my '96 RKC comes on at approximately 70 miles into a full take of gas.. obviously WELL below where it should. Its annoying especially at night because its actually a fairly bright yellow light right into your eyes it seems. The fuel guage itself used to be real inaccurate too, showing nearly empty when at half a tank. I pulled the assembly out of the tank and bent the float downward, and now I think my levels are accurate, but that light still comes on way to early.
Anyone know of any fixes for this? Its starting to make me want to smash it.
