What is the best touring luggage to go on the Tour Pac Rackof the Ultra?

 

I looked quite a bit, if my wife were to tell you I look at things too much. I bought the premium tour pac rack. I had the dealership install due to not wanted to have to buy a new lid if I messed things up. I like the looks and it appears to be the largest rack that harley offers. The parts guys told me that this is the one that they sell the most of HD part # 53665-87 Hd book page 436 $114.95.

Yep.. what they said. Premium rack, and T-Bag Deckker luggage. Watch your weight. Those hinges on the tour pac don't like 50 lb.

i think the t-bag is trying to discontiue the dekker bag because i had one on order for 6 months and finaly e-mailed t-bag about it and they said they didnt know when they were going to get them but tried hard and i mean realy hard to talk me into the dakota bag. everywhere i tried to get the dekker bag no one had it and didnt know when they were going to be in. i went with the kuryakyn bag the grand tour http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...ey&ci=3743 and it seems that it going to be a good bag it has a pop out zipper section with rain cover and two side pockets that turn into fanny packs like the dekker. plus it has a handle on it with wheels so when you get there all you have to do is pull the handle out and roll it to the room.

I use an Eclipse duffel bag I bought 26 years ago. I don't even know if they still make it, but it fits like it was made for it.
