Default Rinehart ?????

For all the Rinehart users I have a question. I purchased a set of the 500-0102 slip on pipes form a local dealer on 8-3-15. I installed them with approximately 175 miles on the bike, as of today the bike has 595, so the pipes have roughly 420 miles on them. Today when took a ride to the hill country and got into a small 10-15 rain shower. When I got home this afternoon and was looking at the bike, I noticed quite a bit of rust starting on the inside edge area of each pipe. Is this normal? Not normal?

Spray some black hi temp paint in there. You'll be good.

Thanks for the replies. I've never had the Rineharts before, so wasn't quite sure what to expect with them.

Had Rineharts for 3 or 4 years and they always have had the rust inside the pipe. Comes from cold start condensing.

I put mine on brand new within 3-4 days I had some rust starting and didn't run into a rain shower. Took baffles out and used some scotch bright on them to get rid of the loose rust and sprayed them with high temp flat black barbecue paint.
