anyone have the new conversion that harley has out for the street glide that makes the three lights in the bottom of the fender a brake light it is supposed to just plug in
I was looking at that yesterday for my RG. The question I have is that there is an emblem on the bottom of my rear fender, does that come off? Or does the kit go over it?
Are you talking about this one
or this one
I installed the second one the other day on my SG. The install was easy but you need to splice your license plate light into the wiring for this upgrade or you loose you plate light. Poor planning on Harleys part as both this light and the plate light, plug into the same socket inside the tail light housing. Unless I read the instructions wrong, it's happened before.
