MTX30L Battery
Look at close pics of the weaker-thinner looking terminals in mtx30l vs etx30l battery mfg'd by deka batt mfg in usa with much thicker more robust looking terminals to better handle vibration & heat thats in 1 of the links pasted below at good price delivered to your door.
So here are some of the best prices on upgraded more powerful quality Maint free fact activated AGM stock repl batteries.
Stock HD repl fact act mant free AGM battery is 385cca at a whopping $180+.

Thats mfg by Deka.
And no you dont hang batteries by terminals but with 4+ decades wrenching bikes i have seen mult times where batteries with wearker thinner termianl construction/design can break ,leak ,etc having issues if someone was to crank down a bit harder then they should or from a lot of vibration which some HD's have plenty of which the deka battery with stronger terminals can batter handle.
BTW,i have have not had any deka agm batteries fail in my bikes or other peoples bikes i installed them in over the yrs but have had isseus with expensive fact act agm mainjt free yuasa & Interstate bike batteries other people already bought to have me install crap out in less then 6 months.
Ppoint is no matter how good a mfg is they all have a bad 1 here or there for what ever the reason be it improper handing prior to being bought, very old new stock thats been sitting too long without charge activity leading to premature sulfation & failure ordue to an actual mfg defect .
I have been working on my own & quite a few other peoples bikes over 4+ decades and have used/installed dekas newer gen fac act agm maint free batteries in my bikes and other peoples bike on work too since deka came out with that series agm battery quite a few yrs back and have not had 1 fail early to date with most lasting 5-6yrs on avg with more then a few going &+ yrs at approx $100 vs hds $180 for same type battery.
I put a new deka agm in my friends yami R* with 1700 v-twin 2009 it its still going strong 6+ yrs later.
I also put same type deka in my prior bike 2009 and that was still going strong 6+ yrs later when i sold the bike 4/2015.
The 09 flhtcu i bought 11/2014 that had a new BigCrank agm battery from BatteryMart online (also mfg'd by deka) installed by the prior owner in TX on 5/2013 which is still doing just fine since i bought it 11/2014.
Happy motoring.
