I have ordered many parts from Boardtracker over the past few years and my experience has been positive until my last order. They are good for most prices but have been slow to get some orders out. It has not been an issue for me until my last order. I ordered the fairing oil temp indicator kit around Dec. 18, and three weeks later, I still had not received any update on the order. I checked back with Anthony and he said he didn't know why the order was delayed and could not tell me when it would ship. I checked with my local MoCo dealer and Surdyke and they both told me that the kit was in stock at the warehouse and would ship out within 3 days. I ordered the kit from Surdyke and had it in my hands before I received the refund from Boardtracker. I will not write them off, but they did move over to the maybe unreliable side of my vendors list.
Low prices and free shipping ain't worth a flip if you cannot provide what you are selling within a reasonable time and leave your customers hanging with no communications.

I ordered a set of lighted switches from Surdyke last Sunday, and they are being delivered this Monday. I like New Castle, but their shipping prices are high. Surdyke, $208. Boardtracker $217. New Castle $218.80.

Reason: Added prices
I purchase from my local dealer with my Citi card and then Citi reimburses me the difference from the boardtracker online price. This way I don't have to wait two weeks for my order!

Everything is done online. Just take a screen shot of the cheaper price online and upload it to their website. It's pretty simple. Although, they have lowered the amount you can "save" over the years but it is still useful.
I have used Boardtracker several times and never disappointed with price or shipping it could be they are slammed with orders , for the prices the wait times isn’t a issue for me
I'd check with your local dealers and see what they can do on price. After I purchased 4k in parts between my two bikes from Surdyke I talked with my parts guy about it. I showed him my receipts and they found a way to offset it by giving me the difference in points in their rewards program. When I had my handebars, speakers, amp, and fan assisted oil cooler installed I didn't pay anything out of pocket cause I had enough credit built up through their program. It covered $1200 in labor. Plus when you deal local its easier for a return if you end up getting something damaged.
