Motor removal? Need jugs

Bore size is the same on the 88 and 96, but the stroke is .374 longer on the 96". Cylinders are the same, but not the pistons. I don't mean to disrespect you, but if you don't know that it's possible to pull the jugs while the motor is still in the frame I'd do a ton of research before I started. With a cam bearing failure, are you sure there's no shrapnel in the case?
