Out riding last and stopped at a red light and the bike started idling rough and the engine light came on along with the battery light. Pulled away from the light and both lights went off, Bike is running a little rough and is decel backfiring.
Checked today for codes and 5 came up.
P0131-Front oxygen sensor low
P0132-Front oxygen sensor high
P0151-Rear oxygen sensor low
P0152-Rear oxygen sensor high
P0562-Battery voltage low
Any help on what happened and what I need to do would be greatly appreciated.
It's a 2012 Road Glide with a Screaming Eagle intake with 2 in 1 Bassani pipes.
Damn... sorry about the problems... so soon after purchase.
I'd agree with "the mouth" but... but not because I have experience with the issues you are having. Seems logical a dead battery can cause all kinds of havoc which I have witnessed with a friend's glide on a trip back from yosemite. I'd clear the codes if you have not done so already and remove the battery, (of course have the fob present, ensure the alarm is deactivated, pull the main fuse, then battery) and take the battery to get tested or replaced.
.....i'll play the devils advocate here and suggest it might be the charging system starting to go. possibly the start of the voltage regulator crapping out. mine used to do little stuff like that....charging light would come on for a couple of seconds just to tease then go back out. eventually, it got worse and i finally had to take it in to get fixed. like the folks said, pull the battery and go get it checked. thats the easiest first step.
