New plan
After much discussion and consideration I have decided against doing the bolt on 110 upgrade on my 2014 FLHTK in the medium term.
I have decided the best course of action is to enjoy my bike stock (the motor is really tight - burns no oil) until the time in its life when it starts to burn oil due to wear in the cylinders.
When I get to this stage of the engine's life (I hope this will take about 20 years!) I will then consider doing the 110 upgrade, as part of the package is replacement jugs, pistons and heads. This would hopefully bring me back to an oil-tight motor like new.
Sound like a good plan?

I don't think the investment in more HP for a touring bike is worth the money. If I want to go fast, I'd add a V-Rod to the stable. I've been enjoying my 2015 stock Road King, the 103 High Output has good power.
Sounds like a good plan to me. I honestly don't understand why people pay all that money for a brand new bike, take off perfectly good/new pistons and cylinders, just to put on bigger ones and get a few more hp. Just ride the bike and when the engine needs a rebuild, then put on bigger pistons and cylinders.
