Will they let you go back?
Taking it in next week to get SERT and Slip-ons put on as well as having them check a couple of other things on the bike. Will service let you go back with your bike and let you watch while they work on it?

Doesn't answer your question I know, but in a bike shop (independent, not H-D), there was a sign that quoted hourly rates.
$60 per hour
$70 if you watch
$80 if you help
$90 if you've worked on it yourself.

My mechanic who doesnt work for a HD dealer .. but this is one of the best HD repair shop in Montreal .. lets me watch he even has a little stool for me .. if we yak it up too much he knock off some time from the bill .. nobody touches my bikes except these guys ..

A dealer that I went to in Ohio actually INVITED me into the shop to watch!!
I guess it all depends on what they are trying to hide.
