Default How long have you gone?

Just wondering what kind of miles everyone is getting on there tires before they need replacing due to normal wear. My Fatboy still has its original tires on & since I just stepped up into the Touring family & having my wife on the back with saddle bags loaded with plenty of out-of-state trips planned this year I want to get a feel for how long I can expect to have them last.

Thanks

I got around 10,000 on the rear tire and still have the original front with 18,000. I'll probably change the front with the next rear at about 20,000 unless needed sooner. It still looks good. I've read thatthe rule of thumb is two rear to one front and 10,000 is about average mileage for a rear.

Someone alert the admin and tell them the frickin' SEARCH button is broke again.

10,000 or so on the back, 20,000 or so on the front.

Thanks for asking your question. Being very new (April 2007)to the Touring family myself, Iwas not certain what mileage I could expect from my tires.

11-12k on rears. 39k on my original front. I replaced the second front at 25k Wednesday. It still had great tread. Only replaced due to age.
